-----Black pipe as electrical conductor for stainless steel gas pipe
I am a Builder and have read some articles about stainless steel flexible low pressure gas lines, i.e., such as what supplies a cooking range, laundry dryer and hot water heater potentially developing small holes if a home were to be struck by lightning and the stainless pipe wasn't grounded.
My flexible gas pipes are attached to black pipe, both ferrous metals, but are connected with a brass fitting, a non-ferrous metal.
Any thoughts on this? Greatly appreciated in advance.
