Want high Epoxy Coating DFT

2007

The client has asked for 100 % Solid Epoxy Cladding to be done on the Penstock Valves . The Specification Provided by Client is as under.

10.1.3 The coatings shall be 100% solids epoxy cladding and built up in layers to 1.5mm DFT. The layers shall be applied in accordance with manufacturers instructions."

We request you to kindly help in selecting the required paint which can give a DFT of 1.5 mm ( 1500 microns). We have been told by local suppliers that achieving a DFT 1.5 mm is not possible and if achieved

by applying numerous coats , the paint may peel off.

You help in this matter will be highly appreciated.

THANKING YOU,

WITH REGARDS,
