Copper plating (Thick 40-50 micron) on Nickel Iron Wires-Core wire of Welding Rods

+++++++

Can some body suggest to plate copper as above on 3.15 and 4.0 mm dia, 300 and 350 mm long wire pieces. The plating should be adherent. We will prefer a cynide free process. Volume are 10 tonnes per month. With present process which is acidic copper sulphate we can produce very littel and adhesion is not good

Use a Woods nickel strike over the nickel alloy surface before your actual copper.

Plate either Alk.Copper strike or Cynaide copper strike followed by Acid copper to build good thickness which will be adherent also.
