No one will re-plate my ring!

The rhodium plating is wearing off my wedding ring between my fingers and every jeweler I've called said that they won't replate it because it's too much of a pain! Is this true? Is there really nothing I can do now besides buy a new ring?! It being my WEDDING RING and very precious to me, buying a new one isn't something I'm interested in AT ALL!

Look for a jeweler who specializes in replating or custom jewelry. Someone who is a goldsmith not just a jewelry seller. You might have to search in larger cities than the one in which you live (or hopefully not).
