White gold stained by hot ovens!

I have a white gold ring and I worked at a bakery .. I accidentally had my ring touch the hot oven and a spot turned a very faint gold color... I want to know if I can clean it with it having a ruby stone or ... should I let professionals handle this? or is it permanent?

Eva,
If the ring is a true white gold casting, the ring can be professionally polished, if it contains a genuine ruby stone the polishing should be done by a reputable jeweler. Good Luck!

Sorry! Finishing.com is temporarily Read-Only.
Ted Mooney is retiring but I have several offers to take it over.
We're working hard to make sure we find it the best new home.
