12% ZINC NITRILE PLATING?? [Florida]

Hello,

I have a request from a customer that is looking to compare cost of a machined brass fitting (current) versus same item made from 12L14 steel with a supplemental plating process that they are referring to as '12% ZINC NITRILE'....

Can someone advise if this looks like a proper zinc plating specification. I have never heard of it. Thanks.

The 12% figure makes it sound like a typo error; it may be Zinc Nickel plating with 12% of Nickel content.
