Need electroplated Zn and Zn-Ni plates

2006

I am a researcher and I need the following products for my comparison studies.

Zn and Zn-10wt.% Ni electroplated plated steel samples of 6" X 3" size (10-12 micron coating thickness on 0.8 mm thick steel). The quantity I need is 25 each. It will be great if I get samples that were prepared by using both acid and alkaline chemistry processes.

Can anyone tell me where I can get the above samples?

Ed. note: Zinc-nickel alloy plating is done by proprietary rather than generic processes, Prabhu, so I suggest you contact the vendors and ask if their plating development labs can provide the samples. I think you will find that no single vendor offers both acid and alkaline processes so that you will need to contact two vendors.

Sorry! Finishing.com is temporarily Read-Only.
Ted Mooney is retiring but I have several offers to take it over.
We're working hard to make sure we find it the best new home.
