Non skid application

I'm looking for a non skid material to be either dipped or sprayed on a small metal clamp, used to hold another appliance in place. Preferably with a slight grit finish.

They sell paint like that at some paint stores, probably auto paint shops. Also, you can coat the clamp with a paint of your choice and then sprinkle some carbide grit on it while it is still wet.
I would look at the stick on tread material. when it gets messed up, you can remove it with solvent and reapply. Quick and cheap. For real cheap, try a stick on piece of wet or dry sandpaper.
