Parts found rusty after post rubber molding phosphating

We are the rubber parts manufacturer. We are facing the problem of the parts getting rusty after post molding phosphating. The Post molding phosphating is customer requirement to have the phosphate coat. We tried many of the consultants but problem is not yet solved. Parts are starting getting rusty at the edge of the part & afterwards whole edge of the part get rusty. Nature of the rust is like the fumes that's are spreading. We need to solve this problem at the earliest.

Please give the corrective action.

Dear Sachin;

You must phosphate or plate the part first before moulding and shot blast away the area that will contact with the rubber. The rubber flashes near the edges will not permit proper coverage around the edges hence rust first.
