Chemically removing copper sheet dents and scratches

++++++

Hi, I'm working on a copper sheet 0.5 mm(4 feet by 8 feet) and has been dented and scratched through handling. I would like to know if I can eliminate the dents and scratch through a chemical process. I have tried doing it mechanically and it takes a lot of time. Help!

++++++

There is no practical way of doing it chemically. Keep up with the mechanical way and welcome to the world of "bench work".
