-----Clawfoot Bathtub - Feet
We are restoring an old home and I have had no success in locating a plating shop that will nickel plate the feet to my claw foot tub. Apparently they are not willing to take on small jobs. If there is any operations out there that would be willing to plate them I would be most happy. I have even considered purchasing a kit and plating them myself. The feet are iron and in excellent condition. Thanks in advance.

Hi, Ronda. Many shops cannot do small jobs for individual consumers because their plating equipment is automatic and geared for production runs; they may consider inquiries like yours just an annoyance. On the other hand, there are shops which are happy to do plating for consumers. So our Shop Directory now includes flags indicating whether a shop handles only industrial accounts or welcomes individual as well as business inquiries. Good luck.
