Electrodeposition of organic phosphated metals [India]

Dear Sir,
I would like to know whether an organic phosphated metal sheet can be subsequently passed through Cathodic Electrodeposition process or not.If we can apply E coat on organic phosphated sheet then what are the properties of that coating - like Salt spray test ,adhesion.I would also like to know whether there is any supplier in India for organic phosphating chemicals. Thanks

In case you wish to run Ed coat over steel here is a suggestion thats environmentally friendly and will improve SST life considerably.

Plate with alkaline Cyanide-Free zinc
Yellow Chromate
ED Coat

this is being done at a few places in India and is entirely cost effective and more reliable than Phosphating.

Yes, a supplier does exist in India.
