What material should be used for
auxiliary anodes in acid zinc?
+++++
Greetings,
I want to use auxiliary anodes in a zinc acid bath. I wonder what
materials are recomended to use in that kind of bath. Maybe there are
plenty of options, yet I have the restiction of availability. The
materials I was thinkinking of are (in order of what is more
available o easy to get to me):
Stainless steel
Nickel plated metal
Titanium
Do you have other recomendations?
Thanks four your help and advice.

Use conforming soluble zinc anodes.
The other alternatives will dissolve eventually in acid zinc
contaminate the bath and give you rejects due to missed plating and
contaminated electrolyte.
Replace the zinc anode periodically after inspection.
