Basic course in electroplating
I'm a 3rd year student of BCS(computer science).
my uncle ownes a electroplating factory in nasik(maharashtra).
I'm interested in joining a short or a basic course that will help join him at earliest.please help.

Metal Finishing Association of India established in 1973 and a premier organisation affiliated with IUSF(International Union for Surface Finishing) coducts Certifiacte course in electroplating and Metal Finishing every Year during April.This course has been recognised by who is who in metal Finishing Industry in India.Incidently I happened to be a member in the governing counsil of this prestigiuos organsation for the last 6 years.Infact the person who heads this certificate course Dr. Ashish Kulkarni lives in Nasik,your native.
Prathamesh, Please try to be in Mumbai during 2-4 Feb 2006 for ISF
2006 where you can get plenty of knowledge in this promising field

I'm not sure if the AESF is in India or not but I do know that they offer a great beginners course for electroplateing. We use this in our shop for all of our new platers I believe the cost is somthing like $150.00(U.S.) you could check it out at www.aesf.com
