Quantitative determination of nickel sulfamate [El Salvador]

+++++

Hello,

Is there a titration procedure for determination of nickel sulfamate in solution?

thanks for all yours opinions.

Indeed there is a quantitatve procedure. First, you have to establish the total nickel metal ion concentration in ounces per gallon by titrating against EDTA solution; ammonium hydroxide and ammonium perpuric acid color indicator (Murexide)are also used. Next, you determine the nickel chloride concentration in ounces per gallon by titrating against silver nitrate with highly diluted potassium dichromate used as the color indicator. These procedures are available in engineering and metal finishing textbooks. There is an equation that is used to isolate the nickel sulfamate; it is as follows:
oz./gal. Ni(SO3NH2)2 = [oz./gal. Ni - (oz./gal. NiCl2 X 0.247)] X 4.27

This is a other metodo to determinate the oz/gal of nickel in the nickel sulfamate.

2ml of the electrolite+100ml of water+20ml conc NH4OH AND indicator murexide powder the titulation is with EDTA 0.1M but it do you have other molar of the EDTA exempl 0.0575

Ni(oz/Gal)= ml(EDTA)*cte(3.914)*0.1

If do you have a EDTA 0.0575
Ni(oz/Gal)= ml(EDTA)*cte(3.914)*0.1*0.0575
the change of color is of orange to purple

Hi
I am looking for the detail procedure of Ni sulfamate and EDTA titration using Murexide indicator. Also looking for the equation and reaction of Nisulfamate and EDTA.
