ASTM Standards for NSS test on wheels

+++++

Hi I'm Özge from Turkey. I've just graduated and newly started work. I'm a chemist. My company is producing wheels in Turkey. I want to make our Neutral Salt Spray corrosion test by myself. But I don't know what ASTM Standards apply for the wheels. What are the acceptable values for blisters and corrosion? Can I find original pictures about blister sizes? I found a copy but it's really hard to see. Sorry for my English. I'm waiting an answer to help me

Hello Ozge.
You can purchase and download standards on-line at www.astm.org. Some general specifications are ASTM D610 [link is to spec at TechStreet] for degree of rusting and ASTM D714 [link is to spec at TechStreet] for evaluation of blister. These specifications typically do not specify pass/fail criteria, which is generally specified in engineering or material specifications.

I would like to know the name of your wheel company and what you produce.
