-----Preventing electrolysis monel line anodized aluminum spool
I have an anodized aluminum spool, and wish to fill it with monel wire. I need to prevent electrolysis. I would like to coat the inside of the spool with SOMETHING SPECIAL so galvanic action, or electrolysis ,does not eat away at my new reel. The product must be able to adhear to anodized aluminum.
Id like to thank you for any help, as I need some PROFESSIONAL advice. I think this site is a fantastic forum, and am happy to have found it.
Thanks

As one of our regular visitors reminds me, properly anodized and sealed aluminum is non conductive so the issue of electrolysis is moot. But any paint, coating, or plastisol you add will only improve the situation. PVC or teflon are used as the insulation on wiring, so any coating based on them sounds good.
