How do you clean zinc canning labels

I bought a box of zinc canning labels and I need to clean them. Don't worry, I won't be canning with them...they are soap dispensers made out of canning jars.

thanks in advance

You can use 5% sulfuric acid solution.Solution of ammonium citrate(5%,pH 7)can be usable ,too(dissolve 50 gm citric acid on eBay or Amazon [affil link] in 1 lit water, add some ammonia, pH must be 7). Rinse well!

Good luck!
