Cleaning an aluminum HV chamber


I am interested in techniques for cleaning a 35x17x16 aluminum high vacuum chamber. The chamber will have sensitive optics inside.

It would have been helpful if you would have stated what type of contaminates you are trying to remove. With that being said, have you explored CO2 cleaning? This process is used extensively on circuit boards, and delicate equipment.

I am specifically looking at cleaning the individual panels after CNC machining. Then cleaning the entire box following TIG welding.
