Yellowish color in LCD area. Silver bath




Yellowish deposit in LCD area of silver plating from a cyanide bath. I am plating sterling silver chain. HCD areas are good and white.

Ollie, what type of cyanide did you use, maybe there is some sodium cyanide in the silver solution. Sodium cyanide will colour the silver to yellow.
