-----Limiting Galvanic Corrosion - steel vs. aluminum
In seawater environment, is it better to use cad plated steel bolts, [or 316 SS?] to hold down 6061-T6 aluminum panels?
Is it better to use teflon spacers to avoid contact between the 2 dissimilar metals?

Hi, Benjamin.
I assume you mean a salt AIR environment. Neither aluminum nor plated hardware will last long in salt water. Teflon spacers are the best solution if not too expensive for you. Cad plated fasteners are far better for compatibility with aluminum than stainless fasteners.
