Ali 6082-T6 ...Stay bright?

+++++

Hi Guys,

I am manufacturing some wet sumps for a formula student race car, Basically a motorbike powered, single seater racecar. I have designed the sump and it is very near to commence of manufacture. I was going to use ALi 6082-T6 as this was advised by most sources as the best and most common material for the job. However, I was wondering if anyone knows if it is a "stay bright" ali. If not, has anyone got any suggestions as to other possibilities.

Many Thanks,

James Crowley
