Want book on fundamentals of finishing and electroplating

We are not in to electroplating or finishing business however my company sends out numerous parts for finishing which includes zinc-black, yellow, chrome, nickel, powder coating, vibratory finish etc. I am looking for a basic general reference book to educate myself and staff on basic finishing processes, quality control etc.The book must not be very technical. What book do you recommeend?
