Electroplating + KTL

We have to coat a tube for water cooling system for vehicles by first eletroplating and second by KTL. Electroplating will have a Cr-3 passivation on the zinc layer, and no passivation on the uncovered areas inside the tube. What problems do we have to face with the pretreatment within the KTL? Will there be severe adhesion problems? Can anyone give us any advice?
