-----Alodining of holes
Would anyone know of a better & quicker method of Alodining 6 mm diameter holes in 6mm thick aluminium plate other than masking up one side of the plate and then filling the hole with Alodine solution. Your help is greatly appreciated.

You can use Q-tips ⇦ on eBay or Amazon [affil link] to apply the Alodine. There should be directions on the Tech Data Sheet for a "brush on" application method. ![]() Megan Pellenz - Syracuse, New York 1999 Tony. You can use painting method and thereby avoid masking. Tony, what about reverse engineering? Chem film the entire plate, plug the holes and strip the remainder. The masking is much easier and could cut time with the elimination of the current masking of the back side. There are all kinds of plugs available or even the right size Tygon tube pulled through and cut off (with a tail to remove). Good luck.
