Chrome Plating a RIM tooled part

We manufacture exterior mirrors for Coach Buses. I have an RIM tooled part made of Bayflex Polyurethane Elastomeric 110-50. This is similar to an injection molded ABS part but has a lower Heat sag temperature than ABS.

My question becomes is it possible to Chrome plate the part?

In bicycle plating, we face burning problem and pitting problem. Suggestion for it?
