Nickel manganese recipe and high temp strength

Q. Our company plates nickel heat exchangers. We would like to plate our products from a nickel alloy with better high temperature properties (particularly strength). I've been told nickel-manganese might be the best bet. What's the recipe for nickel manganese and what is the strength as a function of temperature?

A. Brenner's "Electrodeposition of Alloys" admits the existence of such a plating, but a quick read didn't seem to imply that it was commercially viable. I admit to not quite understanding your situation, but if you are electroforming nickel products, I think you'd be better off looking into nickel-cobalt alloys.
