Nitrate Waste Water Treatment

I will appreciate if some body can provide information of how to treat nitrate in electroplating waste water. Thank you in advance. Yong

1. several methods use ion-exchange, but it's not useful if there are lots of other anions.

2. if there's enough time for treatment you can use reduction method, for example zn-metal / pH < 4

3. bio-organic reduction is possible, but takes longer reaction-time
