Transparent protective coating

HI, I am a research assitant of HNEI of UH at Manoa. Our research lab is developing photoelectrochemical solar cell. Currently, i am searching for a transparent, thin layer that is chemically stable in 1N KOH solution as a protective coating of the solar cell. I have tried some materials, like MgF2, i wish that i will get suggestions of the thin layer. Gia Chin Graduate Research Assitant UH at Manoa
