Finishes for Natatorium ductwork

I am researching suitable materials and finishes for ductwork in natatoriums (indoor swimming pools). I am looking at round spiral ductwork hung from the ceiling in large facilities. The ducts would be exposed to air with high humidity and chlorinated water. There is a possibility that condensation could occur on the ducts. I am looking for advice or a study that compares different materials (galvanized steel, aluminum, stainless steel, fiberglass, etc.) and different coatings (anodizing, epoxies, urethanes, acrylics, etc.). In addition, the costs of these materials and finishes are a consideration. Any advice on these items or sources where I could find this information would be appreciated.

Round spiral wound fairly well limits you to metal. The most common being aluminum and stainless, but I would imagine that steel is available also. Aluminum is going to pick up a white corrosion product. Steel will rapidly rust. Stainless steel is great, but is relatively expensive. The aluminum will last several years, but will look better and last longer if painted. There is flame retardant PVC available. White would be a reasonable color. Non flexible. Fiberglass is available in any color.non flexible. All will require professional installation.
