Non-aqueous electrostatic dispersion
++++
Not a traditional metal finishing question - but it looks such a
useful site I thought I would give it a bash anyway...here goes:
We have been asked to formulate a non-aqueous low melting point
wax containing esters and mineral oils intended for electrostatic
dispersion prior to application to cellulose tissue.
What physical parameters will determine its capacity for
electrostatic dispersion - should we look to maximise polarity or
minimise it?

Ed. note: Thanks for the interesting question, Mr. Wood, and
sorry that it remains unanswered to date. There is a good team of
electrostatic powder coating experts at
Tiger Drylac, and you
might direct your question to them specifically.
