Aluminum etching

2004

Dear Sirs & Madam,

I am studying the cleanliness of aluminum metal and want to remove aluminum metal from the matrix and keep the inclusions on the surface of the sample. The treated sample will be investigated using scanning electron microscope (SEM). The photos taken during SEM study will be quantitatively analyzed using image analysis. Could you kindly advice me what is the best way to remove part of matrix and keep the inclusions?

Thank you for the help,
