Potential use for iron derived residuals

++++

I am working in the Appalachian Coal Field Area to find beneficial uses for metals precipitated from coal mine discharges. I am inquiring to this body of professionals for idea related to potential industrial/manufacturing applications for iron precipitates. The iron has both ionic forms of ferrous and ferric. The material is generated in numerous different ways. I would be more than willing to entertain discussions with anyone that has insight they would like to share. As energy demands and cost for crude oil increases, coal extraction continues to increase and create detrimental impacts to water. With your help, I hope to assist America in utilizing the materials present in the water as a resource and not as a waste product to be landfilled.

Thank you in advance for your generosity in providing me with beneficial information.
