Salt verses metal, who's the toughest

I am designing a product that will be used as a basin for a high salt solution...approximately 4-5 times higher salt levels than that of sea water. I am wondering which metal would be the best as far as durability against corrosion and pitting. Could anyone give me information on this or tell me of possible sights on this type of information?

Look into titanium. Keep in mind elevated temperatures can cause problems but most titaniums are safe under 200 °, you can have it alloyed (palladium?)to make it safe to about 450° in salt solutions. Depending on end use of your product a stainless (300 series), ceramic, and maybe even a plastic might work for you and be cheaper.
