-----Silver plating
I'm trying to source a flexible cathode on to which I can plate silver from photographic fix. I am interested to know if there are any companies who can supply light gauge plastic materials coated with 316 grade stainless steel or similar

A simple, easy and relatively cheap way is to take thin 316 SS (0.030) , passivate it and plate on that. The silver will tend to peel off because the SS was never activated.
