Gold solution efficiency

I am confused with the gold solution efficiency. Now we use a fix factor to top up the Gold based on the Production Amin. I don't know what will influence this factor?...because sometimes we got gold is less the gold calculated from Production amin and this factor?....

Gold efficiency varies with current density, pH, gold concentration, temperature, and other additives in solution (brighteners, current density range extenders. etc.). You should get fairly consistent efficiency if you keep most of these items within reasonably close control (± 10% of nominal). If you let anything vary widely all bets are off on consistent efficiency.
