-----ion specific cation resins
I am working on a process to separate different kations out of a hot, celating acids containing solution. Here are my questions: Is there anybody who have experiences with removing trivalent cations like Cr, Fe, Co (around 100 ppm) next to bivalent cations like Fe, Ni, Mn (also around 100 ppm) whith ion exchange resins from solutions containing complexing acids like EDTA, NTA, Oxalic Acid (concentration up to 5 g/L)? I am looking forward to your answers. Best regards, Klaus Dickmann

Certain ion exchange resins does not function properly when chelating is present in the liquid. OK, I am not an expert into this field but that is always what I have been told. I would consider using a zeolite. I assume there is a website on the matter of zeolites.
