-----Equipment to differentiate grade of stainless steel

Q. We are sourcing for an equipment which can identify the grade of stainless. e.g. SS304 as against SS316. We do not want to perform chemical composition test as this take them. Is there a meter whereby a probe on the surface can sent spectrum of material and identify their grade within short time.
