Ferro-nickel electroplating [Iran]

Hi,

I would like to know about comparing between nickel electroplating and ferro-nickel electroplating,please. Can we replace nickel with ferro-nickel without serious changes in property?

Your question is posted in vague and abstract manner, Mr. Montazeri, not mentioning whether the coating is to be decorative or functional, applied by rack or barrel plating or otherwise, followed up by chrome plating or not, on what kind of parts, at what volume, for what reason, what properties you are interested in, and whether you are talking about a proprietary nickel-iron plating system, or just substituting iron for nickel in a home-brew :-)

So unfortunately I can only answer in equally vague and abstract fashion that during times of serious nickel shortages the major process suppliers began offering this solution and it was quite successful.
