Ideal temperature for DI hot water seal?

What is the ideal operating temperature for a D.I. water seal tank?

Thanks!

It's not entirely clear that you are talking about a seal tank for anodizing, Paul, but I think you are. I don't believe there is an ideal temperature because the energy demand skyrockets asymptotically as you approach the boiling point. But I think as close to boiling as practical, say 202 - 205 deg. F., is a good temperature.

Unless there's a reason why not, you might consider a nickel acetate seal as a more energy-efficient alternative. Good luck.
