-----Chromating on zinc
As you wrote in one of your books the formulation of black chromating on zinc is: 45 g/l CuSO4 and 45 g/l KCl We tested it in our Laboratory and it wasn't stabile enough What shall we do? We also need the formulation of olive chromating. Thank you for your consulting.

Hi. I've not sure who you are referring to when you say "As you wrote". Letters from this site are extracted monthly for the "Heard on the Hotline" column in Metal Finishing magazine. But we are not otherwise affiliated with Elesevier Science Publications. I don't know what publication might include formulas for olive and black chromating, but maybe some other reader does.
