-----Potassium Hydroxide for activation of thru-hole PCB plating
I was interested to see if anyone had heard of using a potassium hydroxide solution as an activator in through hole plating and the process by which this occurs. Thanks, Josh

Joshua, Actually, potassium hydroxide has high conductivity relative to sodium hydroxide. So potassium hydroxide based formulations have relatively high throwing power, often used in thru-hole plating. I do not think it is a real activator. Ling
