-----GOLD OVER NICKEL PLATING FOR ELECTRICAL CONTACTS.
I am currently researching various possibilities of plating gold over nickel for electrical contacts. We are at present manufacturing sensors for the motor industry (a large proportion of the motor industry) and supply a relatively small amount of 'gold sensors' and mass produce sensors which are not gold plated. We are reviewing our gold plated contacts and plating company - with a view to high volume plating. Any platers, (companies/institutes - U.K based if possible) who have any advice on quality plating methods and services?

I would like to know the benefits of Gold Flash over Palladium Nickel or Gold over Nickel. Where the above are contact mating area plating material. I need merits and demerits of using these as a plating material.
