-----Beware of this embrittlement!
From time to time there is a discussion at this site about parts embrittlement and unknown causes. In this regard, a very interesting article published in the February'99 issue of the Product Finishing Magazine (pp 88-89) was forwarded to me. The article is about "liquid metal embrittlement", especially for Cd, Zn, Zn-Sn and similar low melting point materials and related substrates. I thought a lot of readers here would be interested.
