Primer coating on aluminum foil

I am looking for a coating method, which is capable to coat a thin layer (~ 10 microns) of primer on thin aluminum foil ( ~ 30 microns). The foil width is between 200 mm to 500 mm (8 to 20 inches). The primer is slurry-based. I am curretly using gravure coating process. The major problem I have is the foil handling by the coating machine. Therefore, my coating speed is limited to very low level. A lot of wrinkles may occur on the foil after coating if the speed increases. Does anyone know how to reduce the wrinkles? Suggestions on other coating processes (reel to reel) requiring gentle foil handling will also be extremely helpful.
