Is it possible to etch indium w/o etching aluminum? [California]

application = 10-20um indium bumps on aluminum IC pads.
problem = reworking indium bumps.

Questions: Is it possible to etch indium w/o etching aluminum? or Is it possible to repair IC pads if damaged (not necessarily with the same metal)?
