-----sulphate removal from water
I'm a graduate student currently doing a research in sulphate removal from water, and there is one question that has been kicking my head:
WHY sulphate REMOVAL IS SO DIFFICULT?
IS THERE ANYTHING ABOUT ITS SOLUBILITY?

To remove anything from anything requires that you have some mechanism that will differentiate them. In waste water treatment, the most practical separation method is filtration. Most sulphate compounds are very soluble, meaning that you cannot filter them to separate them from the water they are dissolved in.
