-----BROWNING ON DECORATIVE CHROME PARTS
As of the past several months back we have been experiencing a brown film after chroming process on nickel plated parts. Large pieces such as bumpers turn out fine but smaller parts such as moldings, auto and motorcycle parts, nuts and bolts, etc. do not. The film is almost like a paint like looking coating layer. Note: It is not a nickel spot. It's an 1,100 gal. hexavalent chrome tank. Any input would be appreciated we are at our wits end.

Check your ratio between hex chrome and sulphate. Remember to subtract fe, cu, and Tri valent chrome.

I think you have a problem of LCD. Check point 1. Rate of chromic acid and sulfuric acid 2. Auxiliary anode
