Shining three old brass lamps for Victorian Shades.

+++

I have acquired some old brass lamps that I wished to make Victorian shades for. However, is there anyplace I can get parts, as I want to know how to make them adaptble for Victoria Shades. On one, the bulb would hang down. On another upright lamp, there are 3 upright things to hold bulb. Maybe they aren't' adaptable to use.

However, the brass is pitted. One won't shine at all and I am using a good brass polish. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you.
