Bronze coloured finishes on aluminium and cast iron

I am currently working with a company producing decorative castings in aluminium and cast iron, and wish to produce a bronze coloured finish. I have identified anodising and electroplating as possibilities respectively but would value any advice from anyone with experience in this area. I would also be interested in any comments in decorative finishes of the aluminium castings.

Bronze electroplate is one answer, but cast aluminum is no fun to plate. Anodize would require an architectural grade which most anodizers do not use. The dye in conventional anodize will gradually fade from the sun or fluorescent lamps. Nasty old UV light spectrum. A bronze lacquer from one of the quality vendors at this site is possibly a better approach.
